A new victor will be crowned tonight on “The Voice”.

Baber last week advanced into the final four contestants on the show, along with Jeffery Austin, Emily Ann Roberts, and Jordan Smith.

For weeks, it has seemed nearly preordained that Smith, a 22-year-old college student from Harlan, Ky., would win “The Voice”. As of now, Smith is clearly primed for stardom.

Oh, yes and Gwen Stefani wants us to know if the upset occurs, that she’ll be the first woman to win.

After this week, we’ll know if Baber is right about the power of his home state to help him win the show and the recording contract with Universal Music that comes with it.

The final four contestants on Season 9 of “The Voice” put all their musical talents on full display Monday night during Part 1 of the two-part finale.

Smith’s closest rival, Tennessee country singer Emily Ann Roberts, 17, from Blake Shelton‘s team, also had a strong finale performance Monday with Cam’s ballad “Burning House” and Elvis’ “Blue Christmas”, which landed at Nos.
