Readers of a certain age will be au fait with Paula Abdul’s hit single ‘Opposites Attract’ but if you’re not one of them, prepare to be educated in classic 80’s pop courtesy of Mr. James Corden.

The Brit took on the role of cartoon cat M.C. Skat Cat in in the comical remake, as he swung his tail across the studio, while wearing a tight vest and white high-top trainers.

Oh, yes. The duo decided to remake Abdul’s music video for her 1989 hit “Opposites Attract”.

From the two hilariously hoping into bed together to Corden’s adorable look of concentration as he performs the iconic choreography, we think the pair totally killed it-and we’re genuinely impressed by their dedication.

In just over four months James has proven that he’s more than worthy of his prestigious spot on American television.
