Mysterious ‘UFO’ spotted overtaking Virgin Atlantic plane

It has led to speculation online it may be an extraterrestrial flying saucer craft.

Although the footage is a bit blurry, you can still see the object that is being hailed an unidentified flying objectsighting near JFK airport, which was captured by a man that was filming the plane. The footage which was shot on July 7th, shows a peculiar object flying past the plane at high speed.

Rick, the owner of the YouTube channel called the “Paranormal Channel” where the video was uploaded, knows the person who captured it as someone who is always on the look out to catch UFO clips. He believes that the object is not a bug nor is it just another plane in the background. “It’s really unidentified. I shared it with my friends to get further opinions on it, and we could not come to a definitive conclusion on what the object might be so I decided to go with it and share it online”.

“It could be bugs, but i have hundreds of videos sent… that are obviously bugs or birds zipping on by in frame”.

British UFO expert Russ Kellett, however, offered another explanation for the UFO, pointing out that it could possibly be explained in a much more mundane fashion.

Mr Kellett said: “It seems to get narrower and wider as it’s moving, it’s hard to say”. In the footage below that was taken by an avid planespotter, you’ll see a small object race past and away from the plane as it ascends.
