N7 Day: The Entire ‘Mass Effect’ Trilogy Comes to the Xbox One
I don’t know about you guys, but I love me a good old-fashioned mystery.
The Deluxe Edition is available on all platforms – Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC – for $69.99.
Previously, Xbox One owners that wanted to experience some classic Mass Effect action via the system’s backward compatibility feature were limited to the original installment. There are also three other editions of the game, offering different selections of digital bonuses. If you own the disc version of these games then you will need to put the disc into your Xbox One and initiate the installation.
For the thickest wallets, there are two versions of the Collector’s Edition, too.
We learned in past sneak-peeks that the game takes place in the neighboring Andromeda Galaxy, in a region called the Helios cluster.
Latest: Bioware has dropped the cinematic trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda and you can find it below.
Explore the Andromeda Galaxy with the Mass Effectâ„¢: Andromeda Collector’s Edition NOMAD ND1, a highly detailed replica vehicle, flawless for fans of the beloved franchise. Not at all, since both play an integral part in the story. Hopefully the new trailer will confirm that. Moreover, GameSpot has revealed that the voiceover belongs to Ryder’s father, but his identity is still not revealed. Scott will be voiced by Tom Taylorson and Sarah will be played by Fryda Wolff. We hope that they are better optimised than the first game, which suffered some tortuous frame drops and performed worse than the Xbox 360 original. We get a great look at some familiar ships and alien races, as well as tons of new details. But hey, it sure does look pretty. Obviously, there’s not a lot of gameplay to be seen in this trailer, though there are what appear to be a few in-game shots. There is no information about whether we’re getting a release date soon because all that really is announced is that it’s out some time in Spring 2017, but a certain leak suggests that it might be set for March.
