Nancy Pelosi: Phone hacking brought on ‘obscene and sick calls’
Guccifer 2.0, the hacker believed to have played a role in at least one breach at Democratic National Committee (DNC), has leaked a fresh batch of documents, memos and passwords – this time from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).
Russians are suspected in the recent cyber attacks against Democrats that have targeted databases maintained by the DCCC and the Democratic National Committee. However, we are investigating the issue soon we will find out who Is behind all this.
“I have every confidence that law enforcement will get to the bottom of this, and identify the responsible parties”, Rep.
A hacker by the name of Guccifer 2.0 released the emails and personal phone numbers of Democratic members on Friday, allegedly from a hack on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the fundraising and campaign wing of Democrats in the House. “Everything is being settled behind the scenes as it was with Bernie Sanders”, the hacker wrote on his blog. The hacker also published lists of passwords used by DCCC staffers. As you see, I was not wasting my time!
Security firms involved in the investigation have blamed the DNC breach on Russian state-sponsored hackers. That claim was viewed skeptically, in part because the hacker didn’t appear to speak Romanian.
According to cyber experts, there was no way to verify the identity of the individual or group known as Guccifer 2.0.
The Clinton campaign may or may not be correct in their assessment that the Russian government wants to “meddle” in the American election of its next President so Trump can potentially slither his way into the White House.
In a series of e-mail exchanges last month, “Guccifer 2.0” described himself as a committed “hacktivist” and stood up at TSG’s depiction of him as a thief. The emails showing opposition to Vermont Sen. “The controversy ended up costing the DNC’s chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, her job”, the report noted. This was the same group the US connected to the data breach at the Democratic National Committee last month, which revealed emails that showed apparent bias against Sen. “That is correct to say that”. “So, so wrong. I hope authorities prosecute”, tweeted the Utah Republican. Pelosi referred to that breach as an “electronic Watergate”. “This is a break-in”.
