Narendra Modi morally unfit to be Prime Minister, says Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah

He welcomed the PM to one of the most progressive states, which is also number one in investments and job creation, according to latest data.

A group of college students donned degree robes and sold pakoras to passers-by near Mehkri Circle to take a dig at PM Modi’s remarks over job creation. They were later whisked away by the local police.

He also made references to the BJP government in Karnataka (2008-13) which saw the unearthing of an illegal iron ore mining scam as well as allegations of corruption against then chief minister B.S.Yeddyurappa and several other ministers.

Interestingly, Modi hailed Karnataka’s people as selfless and hardworking and attributed the success of U-19 Indian team in the World Cup to the efforts of coach Rahul Dravid.

Yeddyurappa attacked Siddaramaiah and tweeted that the State had become “No.1 in corruption” under the Congress and has faced over 3,000 farmer deaths, collapse of law and order.
