Narendra Modi to unveil A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s statue

He was the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007.

Prime Minister Modi is also scheduled to attend the birth anniversary celebrations of Kalam today, during which he will unveil his statue and inaugurate a photo exhibition on the departed leader. He will open and witness a photo exhibition titled “A Celebration of Dr. Kalam’s Life”. Abdul Kalam on the eve of his 84th birth anniversary by creating a sand sculpture at Odisha’s Puri beach on Wednesday.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will the India’s key Missile Complex in Hyderabad after the name of Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam. Already, oratorical competitions were conducted for school and college students on October 13 on scientific topics and those who won the top places, will receive prizes from ministers on October 15.

Dr Kalam spent his last days with students. Abdul Kalam, prepared by students of the of the technical university and whose foundation stone he will lay next week. Kalam who is considered as “the best teacher” had a wish to be remembered as a teacher by people.
