NASCAR Announces 2016 Schedules for Sprint Cup, XFINITY Series
The first of the track’s two NASCAR weekends is June 10-12 with the Corrigan Oil 200 ARCA Racing Series on June 10; NASCAR XFINITY Series on June 11; and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 on June 12.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway will host a pair of NASCAR Sprint Cup dates in 2016, marking the 20th consecutive season the circuit has visited the 1.058-mile oval in Loudon, N.H.
Dates haven’t been finalized for the Camping World Truck Series and regional touring series (K&N Pro Series East, Whelen Modified Tour and the ACT), but McGrath expects an announcement soon, he said.
The 2015 NASCAR season has yet to conclude, but that doesn’t mean fans can’t look ahead to next year.

Watkins Glen worldwide received a commitment from NASCAR for five more years of Sprint Cup Series racing.

“We learned that NASCAR Goes West worked very well in keeping momentum and interest for NASCAR in these markets”, O’Donnell said. “The tracks put a lot of effort behind making it successful and we think it can continue to have a positive impact as it gains traction from being an annual effort”.
