Natalie Dormer Asked About Looking Like a Pig
When I saw that Kermit had a new girlfriend, I thought I might be responsible for that.
“I used to get told I had pig nostrils. [Loras] should definitely be anxious”, Jones said. “Margaery is trying to be Cersei; she wants to be the mother of the king”. If you watch the DVDs, youll see me oinking backstage. I mean, she wants to have a child with him who winds up on the Iron Throne.
While all three were understandably cagey about the show’s upcoming sixth season (Castle-Hughes would only say of her character,”She’s back!”), Dormer may have given a hint when a fan asked her how Margaery would’ve handled having to do Cersei’s (Lena Headey) penance walk if it had happened to her. “We’re in risky territory for the next season if I talk to you about that”, she said coyly. Still, it might not sound like the biggest compliment to Natalie Dormer herself, which is why someone asked her how she felt about it yesterday at New York Comic Con. But what might have made it most obvious was his very intricate theory about how the books and show are going to end, citing “a huge battle between ice and fire, where they destroy themselves-and they’ve got to dissolve the Iron Throne because they have to, to beat the White Walkers, and out of the ashes will come the tree people and the only ones left standing will be like, Bran, Brienne, Hodor, Tyrion…” Her combat trainer cracked a bullwhip repeatedly over hours of physical training so that Castle-Hughes would not be startled every time she heard it in the scene. (My money’s on Arya.) She didn’t talk a lot about Dorne, as far as the reports go, except to once again gush over dearly departed dad Oberyn Martell.
“I think Loras would probably turn Jon Snow gay”, he said, to much applause.
Jon Snow’s character is favorite amongst the “Game of Thrones” cast too. “See what I did there?” “‘You know nothing, Jon Snow.’ I’d teach him a thing or two”.
Jones agrees: “There are many strong female characters [in “Thrones”], most of which are at the helm of individual plot lines”. Seems reasonable. Let the fan fiction begin! Suuuuuure. We’ll make sure to include that in the fan fiction.
