“Black Panther” is the only time I’ll condone Black-on-Black violence.

Coogler and Cole’s writing works to subvert the trope that stereotypes Africa as a destitute continent.

Director Ryan Coogler did an incredible job directing the film. Given this history, the location and prominence of Wakanda does not go unnoticed.

The setting of the technologically advanced African country mixed with the influence of tribal dress and African culture gave the film an authentic feel.

Finally, our children can play the hero and not because the person they are playing has black hair! There are too many, the jokes aren’t that good and the plots are formulaic at best and cliché at worst. We’ve already seen a teaser for Venom, though Tom Hardy in the Symbiote suit has remained elusive.
