If the Golden State Warriors are going to make history, they’re going to have some slug fests in the final months of the season, as teams ramp up their play heading into the postseason. Curry’s record run began in November 2014.
Stephen Curry didn’t waste very much time on Wednesday night before earning a share of yet another 3-point-shooting record.

For the defending champs, Curry led the way with a game-high 42 points, seven assists and seven rebounds while knocking down six three-pointers.
The Cavaliers bounced back from a home loss Monday to Detroit in which James tied a season low with 12 points.
Curry posted 42 points, including the go-ahead jump shot with 39 seconds remaining as the Warriors improved to 51-5 for the season. He scored 15 straight Warriors points to put his ahead 104-100 with under 3:31 left, hitting three of his four 3-pointers in the process. Dwayne Wade had a throwback game, second round draft pick Josh Richardson scored 15 points, and the Heat led for most of the game.
All this changes, of course, if the Warriors suffer an injury to one of their main guys, or if they suffer a serious of middling ones, or if they just shut it down and decide to cruise to the finish line.
Curry gave the boy the sneakers he wore to warm up – “Keep being fearless”, Curry wrote – and even took Shawn and his brother into the Warriors’ locker room so they could meet some other players.
After a Dragic layup and set of free throws from Curry, the Heat responded by turning the ball over and suffering a clear path foul, leading to more Warriors’ points.
Frye, who was playing just his second game with Cleveland, had essentially fallen out of favour with the Orlando Magic before his trade to the Cavaliers. Cavs center Tristan Thompson grabbed 10 rebounds and guard Matthew Dellavedova had 10 points and seven assists off the bench.
