National Basteball Association journeyman Luke Ridnour is traded to his fifth team in six days
There are three certainties in life: death, taxes and Luke Ridnour being traded.
Ridnour was dealt for the fourth time this off-season, but will not be a Raptor for long.
The former Oregon Ducks point guard was traded Tuesday to the Toronto Raptors, and you’ll have to excuse us if we forget which team had him in its possession to trade…
Then, on June 25, Ridnour was traded to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for forward Matt Barnes. Just hours later, Ridnour was on the move again, this time to the Thunder along with a draft pick for Jeremy Lamb. The guard has a fully non-guaranteed contract for next season that can be waived until July 10.
Salaries generally need to align whenever teams make trades.
According to media reports, Aldridge will visit with – in order – the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston, San Antonio, Phoenix, Dallas, Toronto and New York.
Ridnour was a first-round draft pick (14th overall) for the Seattle SuperSonics in 2003.
Zubcic is from Croatia and has played professionally in Croatia since being drafted by the Raptors. He has played for five teams in 12 years, and has a career scoring average of 9.3 points per game.
