National Football League holding meeting in Oakland to discuss Raiders future
The National Football League on Monday announced it will hold a public hearing in San Diego – part of an effort to include fans and the general public in on its assessment of the potential relocation of the Chargers to Carson in the L.A. area.
First town hall meeting will take place St Louis on October 27th at 7pm at the Peabody Opera House at 1400 Market Street.
Fans and concerned citizens will have an opportunity to voice their opinions and ask questions regarding to the possible relocation of the St. Louis Rams franchise, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
St. Louis and Oakland, the other cities involved in the Los Angeles relocation game, are also scheduled to host Town Halls of their own.
Each hearing will take place from 7 p.m.to 10 p.m. local time and will be streamed live on NFL.com/publichearings.
The event is free, but an entry pass is required. Pre-registration to request an entry pass begins Tuesday. The registration site is www.nfl.com/stlhearing. Non-season ticket holders can apply for entry on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Season ticket holders are the primary intended audience, and the Town Hall will be open to season-ticket holders on a first-come, first-serve basis. Online pre-registration and a non-transferable confirmation receipt with a valid barcode is required for entry. Written comments may be submitted to stl.hearing@nfl.com tomorrow through November 13, 2015.
Attendees will be allotted three minutes each for public comments.
The San Diego hearing will be held at Spreckels Theater.
