National Lottery results: Winning numbers for Saturday August 1

Iowa Lottery sales are up in 2015 from a year ago due primarily to the popularity of scratch tickets which rose 12 percent from the previous year setting a new sales record of $212 million, lottery officials said in the annual financial report released Thursday.

The last drawing on July 29 didn’t produce a jackpot victor (2-22-27-28-52 PB 35 Power Play 3), but there were more than 440,000 non-jackpot prize winners.

The Rolling Cash 5 jackpot for the next drawing is $110,000 for hitting all five numbers and the odds of winning are 1 in 575,757.

No winning ticket was sold for the $41-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw. According to USA Today the odds of winning the jackpot will increase to 1 in 285,981,696 starting October 7.
