Naughty Boy’s Interesting Tweet After Zayn Malik’s Solo Announcement
Well now it sounds like Zayn finally got what he was looking for and it’s all because of his good pal Simon Cowell! The short tweet is a message to let everyone know the singer is ready to show his true self to the world now that he’s a solo artist. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. Ironically, Naughty Boy had been feuding with One Direction for some before “I Won’t Mind” came out.
The music mogul tweeted: “We have been working on this for a while and I am pleased to say congratulations to Zayn Malik on signing with RCA Records“.
Meanwhile, he has been involved in a Twitter spat with Louis Tomlinson, who has also brought a scandal to the band’s door after it emerged he is reportedly expecting a child with stylist Briana Jungwirth after a brief fling. However, Malik’s fans supported his move.
Meanwhile, Zayn insisted that he just wants to live life like a “normal” 22-year-old, and with that – and after Naughty Boy and Zayn’s 1D band mate Louis Tomlinson were busy scrapping online – he went quiet and basically lay-low.
What’s more, Zayn has left Modest Management who he was with during his One Direction days, and is now seeking new management for the next phase of his career. He also offered some commentary on why he left One Direction to embark on a solo journey. One Direction was formed on the reality show The X Factor in 2011 after PussyCat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger suggested its five members perform as a group act.
