Nawaz Sharif consults Pakistan Army Chief over Kashmir

India responded by describing Pakistan as a terrorist state.
Meanwhile, a press release issued by the Pakistan’s mission to the UN said that during the meeting Nawaz Sharif handed over a dossier of the Indian atrocities on the innocent Kashmiris to the UN Secretary General.
“Pakistan wants peace with India”. “We have gone the extra mile to achieve this, repeatedly offering a dialogue to address all outstanding issues”, he added. “Talks are no favour to Pakistan, they are in the interest of both countries”.
Sharif had accused India of starting an arms race on the subcontinent.
India has said the militants who attacked the military base had come from Pakistan and belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), headed by Masood Azhar – the militant commander released in exchange for passengers of an Indian Airlines flight hijacked to Afghanistan in December 1999. She added Pakistan is a “terrorist state” that channels billions of dollars to training and backing terror groups used as “militant proxies against it neighbours”.
“The global community must now understand fully that it is not only terrorists in Kashmir that Pakistan supports but its state policy is to provide an umbrella support and sustenance to all those who wreck havoc across the world, including in France, Bangladesh, USA, Britain and Belgium”, he added. This organisation is widely acknowledged as a terrorist group internationally.
Seventeen such attempts have been interdicted at or around the LoC, resulting in the elimination of thirty one terrorists and preventing their intended acts of terrorism.
