NC Gov. Asks That No More Syrian Refugees Come to State
The request is being sent in a letter from the governor to the president.
“We’ve never had any kind of terrorism problems from the refugees that have come through our office”, said David Haines, the spokesperson for the Diocese.

Experts maintain there is little to no legal footing for states to reject refugees. We can fight terror without turning our back on our values and constitutional principles.
When we think of how to handle tragedies like this one, we should imagine our own relatives in the position of the refugees. This comes after officials announced one of the suicide bombers in Paris was a Syrian refugee.
