NCIS actress Pauley Perrette attacked
Pauley Perrette tweeted that she “immediately drew a sketch of the guy” who violently attacked her outside her Hollywood, California home on Thursday – and ET exclusively obtained the first look at her drawing.
Pauley Perrette is lucky to be alive.
The 46-year-old actress wrote that she was “alone, terrified and trapped”.
Perrette was on her way to meet the architect helping her design a new space she recently purchased, so she was alone at the time of her attack.
“On my street, I was jumped by a very psychotic homeless man”, Perrette stated within a statement posted to her Twitter account. “I knew I couldn’t over come him”.
In her note, Perrette said nothing about fighting back, instead writing, “I prayed my heart out and then finally said, “William is a lovely name, I have a little nephew named William.’ That’s all I said, all I did, other than praying my heart out. There was an empty garage behind me and I knew if he got me in there I was dead”. The actress used her experience to shed light on the lack of treatment for those with mental health issues and minimal housing for the homeless.
“Some guy walked right past me with a dog that licked my face”.
“I haven’t seen anybody ever really do that”, Ward said of Perrette’s sketch. He followed him until police officers arrived and arrested him for felony assault. My life changed tonight. My… I need to heal. “I refuse to shut up about it-refuse”, she said. “My house, my beloved Hollywood, my beloved homeless people that I spend my life protecting”. We need to support our cops.
