NeNe Leakes quits Real Housewives – TV3 Xposé

Thank you so much to everyone who has watched and supported me over the years on this unbelievable platform. There were stories that she was the highest-paid Housewife, and while we have no financial records, we know that she was at least the biggest personality on the highest-rated version of the franchise.

Nene Leakes, 47, has been in RHOA for seven years. Claudia Jordan was reportedly fired after just one season, though Claudia insisted last week that a decision had not yet been made.

“All of my fans will get to see me be really happy, witty and amusing and tell all of those one-liners that I always have said on Housewives,” she said. Turning her attention to her co-stars she added, “I think some of the girls will be happy. Really important thing”. Plus, she is good friends with Kim Kardashian, so one can imagine that these two reality stars are partnering up for something fun.

So why is NeNe leaving RHOA? News that the original cast member is not coming back to the Bravo series next season. NeNe is being replaced by actress, model, and singer Kim Fields, though producers are concerned about a decline in ratings due to the loss of their biggest star. “With lots of thought and prayer I’ve chose to step out on faith and not fear”, Leakes said in her statement, as reported by Us magazine.

The reality star echoes the same sentiments in her social media accounts where she took it upon herself to break the news to her fans and followers. Nevertheless, the constant back and forth, superiority complexes and just plain old drama has left the show and it some of its cast feeling stagnant. Perhaps the show will benefit from some new blood. Case in point, Leakes’ decision to leave. According to Leakes, she will be playing on a show that starts filming this week.
