Netaji’s kin to meet PM Modi at 7, RCR
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday asserted that the government’s intention is very sympathetic towards the legendary freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose and that is why Prime Minister Narendra Modi is meeting his kin at his official 7, Race Course Road (RCR) residence here today.
“But the bigger happiness is for me as nobody in the Prime Minister’s residence would have got such a chance earlier as I will be getting in October”, he said.
“Around 35 members of our family from around the world, will be present and we have two main aims in meeting the PM”.
The invitation was extended by Prime Minister Modi during his visit to Germany in April.
“Over 50 members of Subhas babu’s family, from various countries, will be coming…you can imagine what a happy moment it will be for me”, he said.
“The Mamata Banerjee Government took a historic determination to declassify Netaji’s information”.
“Netaji was in all probability one of the primary nationalists of India. It is an honour to host them”, Mr. Modi had said on micro-blogging site Twitter yesterday. Abhijit Ray, Netaji’s another grand-nephew, had said.
