Nets victim No. 22 for streaking Warriors

Whatever the reason, Golden State Warrior basketball has become a cobblestone for many emotions: happiness, frustration, and relief, just to name a few.

And that’s why he seems like the most improved most valuable player.

But if winning the title is the end-of-season goal, the Warriors are fully embracing their in-season chase at 33 straight wins.

Already owners of the best-ever start to a season, Golden State moved to within one win of the 2012-13 Miami Heat for the second-longest winning streak at any point of a season. These incremental milestones make challenging 72 palatable. But for Warriors’ opponents to have a chance, almost everything must go right. The Warriors continued to pour it on and built a double-digit lead halfway into the fourth and cruised to their 22nd victory of the season. They wake up when they are challenged. Jarrett Jack, a mentor to Curry, scored a season-high 28 points in the game. They rank first in offensive efficiency and fifth in defensive efficiency. Even without Barnes, the Warriors still generate plenty of offense. Generations hold on to what they knew and retell it as if it is better than it actually was. You really can’t fault them too much.
