Nevada Entrance Poll Results: How Trump Won
Ted panicked.” READ: “Pope Francis vs. Donald Trump: “Not Christian” to only build border wallsWith Trump apparently rolling toward the Republican nomination, he showed little sign, that he plans to let-up at all on his competitors, especially Ted Cruz. Instead, the activists’ best-chance state to influence the Republican primaries went to the race’s most enthusiastic supporter of government taking private lands – Donald Trump.
Trump carried voters across the GOP’s ideological spectrum, winning self-described “very conservative” voters by four points over Cruz, “somewhat conservative” voters by 23 points over Rubio and “moderate” voters by 26 points.

“A lot of dishonesty out there”, Trump said at a boisterous afternoon rally in Sparks. The former reality television star called Cruz “sick”. Rubio won seven, and Ted got six.
Cruz was in Fernley, Nev., Tuesday, and spoke about the Obama administration’s plan to shut down Guantanamo Bay. “That just never happens, and it isn’t gonna happen now”, Rubio said.
Rubio also opposed the Guantanamo closure, telling a crowd at a Las Vegas rally the move “makes no sense”, and promised to ship terrorists to the detention centre when he’s president.
Donald Trump appears to be on a seemingly unstoppable roll to the GOP presidential nomination.
But now, that once-perceived advantage for the Florida senator could be moving toward Trump as well.
Mr Trump won 14 delegates in Nevada.
Rubio, who lived in Las Vegas for several years as a boy, ran a more conventional campaign, rounding up endorsements from elected leaders and making the case for his electability in November.
Those were the only contests in which Nevada voted early, part of an effort by the national parties to give Western voters a greater say in their nominating processes. “Now we’re going to get greedy for the United States-we’re going to grab and grab and grab”.

A GOP field that included a dozen candidates a month ago has been reduced to five, with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush the latest to drop out after a disappointing finish in SC.
Carson, who broke out briefly in October but has since faded on the debate stage and in the polls and vote counts, has said he wants to soldier on. “You go in really knowing less about this than any other election”, said a less-than-confident Rubio.
We saw one anyway.
“You don’t win the nomination by how many states you win”, Rubio responded before adding that he will have to win some winner-take-all states in March.
To stop Trump, the opposition must be reduced to a single candidate.
The election calendar suggests that if the NY billionaire’s rivals don’t slow him by mid-March, they may not ever. So far, Trump has captured 67 delegates, Cruz has 11, and Rubio has 10. If Trump were somehow still below the 1,237 delegates needed for a first-ballot win, the convention in Cleveland in July could determine the nominee.
Unlike last Saturday’s contest when Trump walked away with all 50 pledged delegates, Trump will win a proportion of the delegates from Tuesday’s caucus based off the final statewide tally.
