‘Never faced any issues in India’

Fawad Khan opened up about intolerance in India has said that he never faced any issues working in India and anti Pakistan group should be ignored. Also, Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali’s concert in Mumbai was called off after resistance from Shiv Sena last month.

She further stated that If anyone is Pakistani or Indian it doesn’t matter, this divide and rule concept was once used by British rulers in India. “If it is okay for us to go all over the world and work, why can’t people from the neighbouring country come here and work?”, asked Sonam.

“A country like India is known for tolerance. We keep talking about new India, but if this country is not secular, happy in its approach and allowing people to be… the youngsters are not going to stand for it. It’s stupid to be intolerant”, Shah Rukh said during the media interaction. We are dumping in the garbage what our forefathers fought for. You can only grow through art, expression and love. The groups that work against Pakistan needs to be discounted because there are similar groups present in Pakistan too. “It is scary, very bad and I think it is completely unacceptable”, she said.

It would be interesting to see how the Shiv Sena reacts to Kapoor’s statement. Will she regret these words, in the days to come?
