New Aaliyah Song Recorded Before Her Death Released by Timbaland
Timbaland once teased everyone that he would release a never-before-heard song of the late singer, Aaliyah.
Over the years some tracks with unreleased Aaliyah vocals have surfaced, including the high profile “Enough Said”, featuring Drake. Take a listen to the track right here! The legendary producer has hinted about releasing new Aaliyah music in the past and confirmed it all when he announced the release on Twitter, writing, “Aaliyah”.
Timbaland released his mixtape King Stays King on Christmas Day, and “Shakin” was one of the songs featured on it. “Aaliyah”. In her brief career she racked up a number of hits including “One in a Million”, “Try Again”, and “Rock the Boat”.

According to Billboard, the project-which also features cameos from Young Thug, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Tink, and 2 Chainz, among others-is intended as a preview of his forthcoming full-length, Textbook Timbo, which is due out early next year.
