New Dallas taqueria hits big time with famous rocker server
Owned by St Vincent’s sister, the restaurant opened over the weekend, and Annie Clark donned uniform to help out. (Unless she got to keep her tips?) We don’t expect her waitressing stint to turn into a regular gig, but we have a feeling fans will flock to Resident Taqueria, you know, just in case.
St Vincent surprised fans after she was spotted working as a waitress in her sister’s restaurant. She won a Grammy for her 2014 self-titled album, and she also performed at the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies with the remaining members of Nirvana.
Opening a new restaurant can be a scary business, but the mere chance of getting face time with Ms. Annie Clark herself, will surely have lines around the block.
Resident’s menu includes tacos with chicken, short ribs, pork belly, tempura striped bass, and chorizo with onion and potato.
The DFW taco landscape is certainly an overwhelmingly crowded one.
The 33-year-old is now in a relationship with British model and actress Cara Delevingne, who was in the United Kingdom this weekend.
