New Ghostbusters Cast Gathers For Film Shoot in Boston
Maybe it’s the lack of belts and name tags, or maybe they’ll look better with the proton packs on their backs. The first video shows McCarthy alongside Jones who carries her uniform and a pair of black boots.
Noticeably missing from these uniforms is a Ghostbusters logo patch on the shoulder as the photo Feig previously tweeted out revealed. The new “Ghostbusters” cast, that’s for sure! The Verge, however, notes that the reboot version looks a bit boxier than the first Ghostbusters transportation. Fans will recognize this as the well-branded vehicle the Ghostbusters use to drive all up and down Manhattan doing their ghost-busting business.
The forum on the Ghostbusters reboot also featured shots of the proton pack to be used in next year’s film. Instagram user nerdtastic_girl got some photos of the new motorcrycle that will debut in the movie and it’s called Ecto-2.
Star of the original and now producer Dan Aykroyd believes Ghostbusters could become a movie universe to rival Marvel. It also points out some notable changes and similarities.
The way things are going, a teaser trailer can’t be too far behind. “It’s one of the biggest questions we’re faced with”.
The film itself is scheduled for release July 22nd, 2016.
