New “Homeland” trailer released
Homeland may be changing locations to Berlin for its upcoming fifth season, but Showtime’s first official trailer for the spy drama makes it clear that, even though the characters might be in a different country, the show will be just as intense and action-packed as ever.
The CIA’s Berlin station chief, Allison Carr, played by “Homeland” newcomer Miranda Otto, meets with Saul and Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) to tell them, “somebody betrayed us”.
Claire Danes attends the “China: Through The Looking Glass” Costume Institute Benefit Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 4, 2015 in New York City.
Showtime premiered the Homeland Season 5 trailer on YouTube. “I think, at this point, that suits Quinn very well”.
Executive producer Alex Gansa revealed to TV Guide what happened to the agent after leaving no clue about his whereabouts at the end of the last installment. Patinkin added regarding their relationship that “there is no one on this planet that Saul would put more trust and faith in than Peter Quinn”. Sadly, her timing was 12 hours off.
From the trailer, which the cabler dropped on Thursday, Carrie seems to be settling into a calmer home life, as she cuddles her daughter with Brody – Frannie – during a birthday party, while new, Season 5 boyfriend Jonas Happich (played by Alexander Fehling) looks at her and smiles.
“Homeland” is back on October 4th at 9 PM.
