New info, trailer and screens for Plants vs Zombies 2

Yessir, you read that right: Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will allow for some offline play, as well as some new characters!

Also announced was a Mass Effect cross-over in the form of a Z7 Mech pre-order bonus, and probably the cleverest pun they’ve managed to date: Colonel Corn. The Z7-Mech comes with the melee Zomni-tool and interlocking ceramic plate armor with kinetic padding. What are your thoughts on the gameplay trailer and the reveal of Backyard Battleground? This interactive environment connects players to every map and mode in the game, with the option to take on daily quests, complete missions, interact with Plants vs Zombies characters and much more.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has just received some fresh details from Electronic Arts and PopCap Games, including confirmation that fans will be able to enjoy a solo mode called Backyard Battleground.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in spring 2016.
