New iPhone launch likely September 9
It’s known that Apple is most probably going to release its newest iPhone this September and the latest news has added a probable date to this speculation as well.
As for the iPads, Apple will likely show new refreshed models, but reportedly the rumoured 12.9-inch iPad Pro may not be announced.
The iPhone 6S is expected to come with the pressure sensitive Force Touch and also feature camera improvements.
Apple is bringing the iPhone 6S as the successor of the iPhone 6 series, a line of iPhones that introduced the company to the phablet subset.
According to the unnamed sources, Apple has now picked up the date to release their latest devices and it will possibly land on September 2015.
Apple has always reserved iPad launch events for October.
The company tends to hold its iPhone launch events in early September, and then release them on the Friday of the following week.
Apple has not confirmed official details about the launch, but the iPhone 6s is expected to be unveiled at the tech giant’s annual event in San Francisco. Those same sources also told them that Apple will have its next generation of iPad there. With Force Touch, a host of new applications will be opened up for the iPhone, and who knows; if its successful, we might see similar upgrades to the iPad as well. More likely is the announcement of a major update for the Apple TV set-top box. While it continues to sell millions of phones, the overall mobile market has slowed, raising worries that not even Apple is immune to the lackluster demand. The new smartphone is 7.1-mm thick, while the iPhone 6 is only 6.9 mm; also some say that this new smartphone will be more powerful than the iPhone 6. It’ll have a new design, a faster processor, access to the App Store, a new remote with a touchpad, and Siri controls.
And to keep up with competition from Samsung and LG, some experts are suggesting that Apple may ditch its Retina Display in favour of a new higher resolution screen.
