New Jeb Bush super PAC ad hits Trump, Cruz and Rubio
In November, the Wall Street Journal reported that Liz Mair, the former online communications director for the RNC, and other establishment figures in the party anxious about Trump’s rise are forming a “self-styled guerrilla campaign” called Trump Card LLC. “Mike Fernandez, [the] biggest single supporter to your super PAC, is taking out full-page ads right now, where he compares Trump, suggesting that he’s – that he’s like Mussolini and Hitler”.
For Bush, it became a free-flowing hour of rare insight into the candidate’s personality and his thoughts about his famous family. He, is after all, the leader in opinion polls and a favorite of many voters disgusted with more guarded, standard-issue politicians. Bush, the son and brother of former presidents, trails Trump in voter surveys by more than 20 percentage points, according to a RealClear Politics average of recent polls. That website clearly has no relationship to the former Florida governor.
“No one can deny he’s running a brilliant campaign”, Duprey said.
The elder Bush has lived a storied career.
“We need a president who tries to lift people’s spirits and tries to win the election in a way that doesn’t divide the country each and every time he gets a chance to speak”, Bush said.
“By his statement!” Bush said.
Here’s what $50 million in spending gets you.
At two events Tuesday, Bush tried to show how he would do that.
Bush said he’s now reading the new biography about his dad by author Jon Meacham, and admitted that he’s finding out even more about his father. “He’s a gifted politician”, Bush said on Sunday. What kind of Establishment do you think the GOP has, Mr. Geraghty? It is unclear as to why Garten included it as there is no evidence that there was any coordination between Bush’s campaign and Fernandez.
“The situation in Israel is particularly volatile, and so I think in this case, his decision to reconsider that trip is a good outcome for all of those involved”, Earnest said. It’s a pretty expensive bed.
Brenda Wolf, 70, from Bettendorf, Iowa, who has still not decided who to vote for, said negative ads would not change her mind. Bush has called Trump “unhinged” and said that Trump’s comments marginalize Muslims and play into the terrorist group’s hands. The 40 extroverts and six introverts in the group were split up and asked to plan an ideal party separately. Turning them against Trump by using targeted mailings might prove effective, Goldstein said, if the candidate’s past positions on abortion rights and advocacy for a single-payer health care system were targeted. “And the extroverts didn’t plan their party”.
Trump’s latest riposte is so far out of the mainstream, so antithetical to what the US has long stood for, that it would be criminally irresponsible to soft-pedal the remark, one which Stanford historian David Kennedy told The Washington Post’s Dan Balz makes Trump “further out there than nearly anyone in the annals of [U.S.] history”.
“What we’re paying for media buying is lowest that I’ve ever seen”, Spies said. “I don’t know if sand can glow in the dark, but we’re going to find out”. There’s not really any actors that I would… “So I don’t know, I would have to be careful about it”.
