New Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp outlines coaching philosophy
Not only did he declare himself “The normal one, when asked for a quote to match Jose Moruinho’ special one” claim, but he said he reckons Liverpool can win a title in four seasons and asked the media to leave him alone from 11 am onwards this morning!
Klopp has signed a three-year deal at Anfield, with the contract worth in the region of £15 million.
The German wants to harness that hope and optimism to push the team forward but insists it will take time, to turn around things at a club which has finished second just three times in 24 years. “It’s similar – nobody is satisfied”. We think so, and here are FIVE reasons why! That is my job.
“I was never a guy for an easy way”, Klopp told LFCTV, via BBC.
“One of the best moments of my life I have to say. And it is not so bad a thing to be a friend of mine”.
Liverpool’s new manager Jurgen Klopp promised to bring “full throttle” football with a “big heart” to Anfield in his first comments since the German was unveiled as the Merseyside’s club new manager on Thursday night.
Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre, perched next to Klopp throughout, added: “We wanted someone who could take on the size, the might and the ambition of the club”.
‘Let’s not forget Liverpool has not won the championship since 1990.

“We would like to place on record our honest thanks to Brendan Rodgers for the significant contribution he has made to the club and express our gratitude for his hard work and commitment”, a statement from FSG read.
“This is a great club with good potential with players who are flexible”, he said. We can be successful in a special Liverpool way, but we have to wait.
New Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp sensationally launched his Liverpool career by describing himself as “The Normal One” at his first press conference. And please give us the time to work on it. You need to think much more positive than today about me, and all the people at LFC.
“Everybody knows me. I haven’t changed in four months”. But how will his high pressing game work out in the Premier League? I played a lot of tennis, watched football all over the world.
