New Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Gamescom Trailer Released
NVIDIA has released a 4K/60FPS exclusive trailer for Metal Gear Solid The Phantom Pain promoting their Metal Gear Solid GeForce bundle. Is it really the end of an era, or the start of a new one? “We’ve been able to do this because of your support of the PC version and for helping us with feedback all along the way”.
It’s believed that a big focus of the game will be rebuilding the base that was destroyed previously, although the main storyline is being kept hush-hush, even with gameplay videos appearing on YouTube.
The video is well worth the half hour, especially if you didn’t play Peace Walker and are encountering Mother Base for the first time.
iDigitalTimes states that the game’s series creator Hideo Kojima was the one who confirmed the new Gamescom gameplay demo for “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain“. It was revealed that “if you preorder the game on Steam, you will receive “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” for free”. Seriously, just look at that trailer and try tell us you’re not jumping around like a kid at Christmas. No? Aside from the screenshots, the developer also confirmed that the PC release date for “Metal Gear V: Phantom Pain” will be moved up to September 1 instead of January next year.
MGS 5 The Phantom is all set to release on consoles and PC on September 1. It also marks the last partnership between Kojima and Konami.
However, the publisher also shared a bit of bad news regarding the game.
