New mockup video shows three possible colors
Apple is expected to launch the latest handsets in the month of September.
In a separate video also shared on Weibo, the Rose Gold iPhone 7 is being compared to the Rose Gold iPhone 6s.
While not being a completely new design, the back of the iPhone 7 admittedly looks a lot cleaner. There’s at least one leak regarding the iPhone 7 that comes out every day. Companies out in China have gotten their hands on leaked iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus/Pro schematics, and they’ve been building dummy units in nearby factories ever since.
We’ve known for a while that Apple is projected to launch the next iPhone in September, but no other specifics were available before despite the plethora of leaks that have reached the web lately.
But of course, this will only happen if Apple will keep its tradition of releasing its new iPhones on the third or fourth Friday of September. As you’ll notice, Evan Blass isn’t using the iPhone 7 name when mentioning the upcoming iPhones. The video, which was reposted on YouTube by 9to5Mac, shows a rose gold iPhone 7 model next to last year’s 4.7-inch iPhone, which is also pictured in rose gold.
As we approach the early September date, iPhone 7 photos and videos continue to leak.
We don’t get a particularly good look at the phones, and don’t see the bottom of the devices at all, but that larger, dual camera lens is again in evidence – supposedly one of the key differences between the two categories of iPhone this year. The new model certainly isn’t the complete visual redesign users were hoping for in 2016, but it’s hardly a “boring” update, as we’ve discussed ad nauseam.
The only major change rumored for 2016 is the deletion of iPhone’s 3.5mm headphone jack in favor of a Lightning or wireless audio solution.
