New national poll shows Sanders close to Clinton
Clinton, in the latest debate, in speeches and in her campaign’s ads and those of her allies has sharpened her argument in recent days that Sanders, an avowed socialist, is pitching unrealistic domestic ideas, lacks foreign policy depth and can’t match her commitment to minority voters, important constituencies in the coming contests in SC and Nevada.
A poll released Saturday showed Clinton leading Sanders by 38 percentage points in SC, which holds its Democratic primary on February 27. Hardworking immigrant families living in fear who should be brought out of the shadows so they and their children can have a better future. Both campaigns now head to compete for votes in more diverse states such as SC.
The findings suggest that S.C. Democratic primary voters have not changed their mind much since Sanders almost tied Clinton in Iowa and won handily in New Hampshire’s Democratic presidential primary with 60 percent of the vote. They don’t want another candidate who’s bought and paid for, and unfortunately, like way too many establishment candidates, that’s exactly what Hillary Clinton is.
“Don’t listen to the Trumps of the world and allow them to divide us. I do not expect from someone running for the Democratic nomination to succeed President Obama”. Kissinger served as secretary of state from 1973 to 1977. Senior citizens are also part of Sanders’ strategy: “Bernie Bingo”, a game promoted by the senator’s campaign, teaches those who play all about his major policies – and, according to MSNBC, offers those who win a ride to the polls.
Taylor noted that the 712 super delegates do not have more power or votes than regular delegates and only make up a fraction of the 4,763 total delegate votes.
But Ms Clinton may be miscalculating in SC, says Brady Quirk-Garvan, the chairman of the Charleston County Democrats.
