New No Man’s Sky exploit lets players duplicate the rarest items
Some crafty No Man’s Sky players have discovered a way to duplicate items in the game. Mastering their use is critical if you want to survive the quintillions of planets of the game. You can only improve, upgrade, or interact with objects if the required resources are either in your Exosuit inventory, or you’re standing in close proximity to your starship anyway. At the same time, I wonder where this system will go as I progress, because if I understand what they’re saying picking the right answer will become trivial. There are plenty of materials, blueprints and other stuff that you can find while exploring and you will eventually realise that you cannot carry a lot of items because of limited inventory space. The tactics that work early on may not be what you need in endgame, and there’s no telling what further secrets will be uncovered.
The ship features weaponry that can be used to mine asteroids or even attack other ships. You use your mining tool to, well, mine, but you also use it to ward off hostiles, such as aggressive wildlife or sentinel drones.
Just make sure that you are willing to spend a large amount of money if you plan to buy a new ship since they can cost millions of credits. But I digress. What No Man’s Sky represents is an explorer in all of us, while having to adhere to concepts of practicality such as being able to travel across planets, between planets and beyond solar systems to find new planets.
Continuing on from the previous point, do remember that once a drone spots you, it will call for reinforcements if it thinks you’re too much trouble- so if it spots you, don’t let it get away! While your hyperdrive requires Warp Cells, your Pulse Engine is powered by Thamium9.
So there I sat with a cargo full of high value items, pulse engine and hyperdrive primed, health and shield full but I couldn’t take off. As such, I’ve put together a guide of crucial information that will help you in getting your hands on the objects and upgrades you’ll need to get to the galaxy’s center, along with help on racking up those precious units. Bear in mind that the better rewards will be reserved for those who have great relationships with a species, so you’ll need to keep working on your socializing skills if you want to be given the good stuff. The buzzword behind this game is ‘procedural generation, ‘ a simple catch phrase that describes the game’s ability to create the universe ahead of as you play. Following the Path of Atlas is one of the guidance options you can select when visiting Atlas Stations – you can also select the “Center” path, which sends you directly toward the center of the galaxy. Will you use them, or do you know of a better way to get around the procedural universe? You can transfer from your Exosuit to your ship with no problem as long as there is room. The former is fuelled by Isotope elements, and can be made more efficient by upgrading it. If you’re familiar with Minecraft, this is essentially your pickaxe.
This is an enormously complex game, but it gets there by means of networking together many different mundane tasks.
Your Multi-Tool can also shoot projectiles, which is handy when you’re playing offensively. The situations may differ, but ultimately players won’t lose much more than a little life or a handful of Units.
