New picture of Prince George and Princess Charlotte for Christmas

Kensington Palace have released a new photograph of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte, just before they spend their first Christmas together.

Fans of the Royals, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released the most adorable early Christmas present – a brand new family portrait!

In the image they are crouching down and Kate balances her daughter on her knee while her son stands next to her – and all four smile for the photographer.

In the snap, the family are seen posing in the grounds of Kensington Palace, against a lovely autumnal backdrop.

It shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their two children Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 7 months, on a lawn, surrounded by red and golden leaves.

Kate’s been playing photographer recently, snapping plenty of cute pictures of George and Charlotte, but seeing as she’s in this photo, we’re guessing she didn’t take this one.

It’s their first Christmas as a family of four!

In a statement they said they are, “hugely appreciative” of all the wishes and are looking forward to celebrating Christmas as a family.

He will start attending the nursery in January.
