New Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge Update: These Smartphone Brings More Microsoft Apps
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge smartphones are receiving a new update that installs more Microsoft apps, including Office, Word, and PowerPoint on the devices.
The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop new firmware upgrades for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are being rolled out in stages, which means that not all users are going to get the updates at the same time. These were the Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1 Compact. But with the latest update, the company is adding more Microsoft apps for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Smartphone.
The month of September in particular is being seen as the time when the rollout of the 5.1.1 update is truly expected to pick up more steam.
Prompted by Samsung Galaxy S5 owners on community forums, Samsung and partner mobile carriers are reportedly releasing the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop software version. Besides the bandwidth and the extra download, the apps also take up storage space on the phone, for Smartphone users that is rather occupying the data by their own choice. If they don’t and the problems persist, the best way to go is back to the manufacturer, unless you’re open to rooting the phone and voiding its warranty.
The Galaxy Note 4 battery life is still superior to that of the Galaxy Note 5, which will last about a day and a half.
The Android 5.1.1 update beginning to become more widely available to Samsung devices is probably no accident as rumors of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow’s impending arrival have already begun to circulate. However, if rumors prove to be true, then it appears that Samsung would sway from their trend as they are said to be launching the Galaxy S7 in February of next year.
Although an older device, the Galaxy Note 4 keeps its head high and its users happy. Although the company has strayed a bit from its original design language and approach, the changes they made are predominantly good, especially when talking about the Galaxy Note 4.
