New “Spider-Man” movie will film in Atlanta
Even though it’s understandable the powers-that-be want to keep Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man under wraps for now, it was still a bit of a bummer was nowhere to be seen in the new Captain America: Civil War trailer.
Holland was cast as the iconic superhero earlier this year and has revealed he’s excited to be playing one of Marvel’s most distinctive characters. “And every tape I sent in I always did a little acrobatic demo to try and convince them to give me the role”.
Meanwhile, as reported by Master Herald, Holland’s In the Heart of the Sea co-star and soon to be fellow MCU actor, Chris Hemsworth, said that he thinks Holland is a very good fit for the Spider-Man movie and there is nothing that fans should be anxious about. ‘Like with Ron, I just felt comfortable with him, ’cause he’s only a right down to earth easy-going guy, & I cannot wait to get to work with them more.
With that said, it seems like fans will get to witness the shocking unveiling of his real identity in public or to the government when the third “Captain America” film, “Captain America: Civil War”, hits theaters next year.
For Tom – the role is not just an exciting opportunity but a boyhood dream come true.
‘Growing up, I had countless Spider-Man costumes…
“He’s always been a big part of my life and a big part of boys” lives because everybody can relate to him’. “I think it’s quite interesting to go back to that hiding behind a mask”. The Spidey reboot means that Andrew Garfield (of The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 fame) will step down from the titular franchise and be replaced by new lead actor, Tom Holland. But, apparently one theory, first floated by ComicBook.com, is picking up on Downey saying to Evans, “By the way, we are going to shoot in Atlanta again, you and I”, and Evans’ response of, “I know, I’m ready, I’m ready”. “We probably will end up here (in New York) for one week or two”, the actor told the site.
