Star Wars toys wouldn’t be complete without some new lightsabers, and Hasbro has the department covered as well. We won’t say anything more beyond that. A new picture of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) in what appears to be a jungle planet has been posted on the magazine’s website. The new colors for Tie Fighters and X-Wings is interesting to see, and the Micro Machine 3-Packs seem to confirm a number of other new vehicles coming in the Force Awakens as well. Just like the “Darth” in Darth Vader, so is the “Ren” in Kylo Ren, Abrams revealed. Then there’s the detail on his mask, which is intriguingly… tribal.

Possibly the biggest revelation about Kyo Ren yet is that he does not belong to the Dark Order of the Sith.

Exactly who the Knights of Ren are, Abrams is still being kept under wraps, although they might be shown in this leaked concept art.

He was one of the characters revealed in the first teaser for The Force Awakens, and many picked Driver’s lanky gait before he was officially identified as the villain.

Subsequently, the newly formed alliance undertakes a mission to find the real owner of the fallen lightsaber – Jedi master Luke Skywalker. Some speculate that he is an “inverse” version of Luke, paralleling the Jedi’s well-established backstory.

‘The lightsaber is something that he built himself, and is as unsafe and as fierce and as ragged as the character, ‘ Abrams explained. There is a lot of mystery surrounding the lightsaber at this moment in time, all of which will be answered this December.
