New worldwide Trailer For Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation – Bleeding Cool
China’s answer to Amazon didn’t reveal details of the deal it had reached with Paramount.
The Chinese tech giant didn’t specifically made public how much it was going to put into the movie, but the Washington Times reported that the company will lend a hand in the online ticketing, merchandising and promotions.
Helmed by McQuarrie, ‘Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation’ will also include the return of other actors who have reprised their roles, including Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, and Jeremy Renner as William Brandt.
In January, Alibaba Pictures unveiled its first movie project under its new ownership, a romance to be produced by acclaimed Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai.
The announcement came nine days after Alibaba said it was preparing a video and TV streaming service similar to Netflix. The movie is scheduled to be released in the USA on July 31.
Moreover, Mr. Moore commented: “Alibaba’s commitment to offering its customers innovative programs, including one-of-a-kind retail and entertainment experiences in China, make them ideal partners for us on the launch of “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation,” and we are thrilled to be working with them to create a successful campaign for one of our studio’s most popular franchises”.
It was during last year’s fall when Alibaba execs Jack Ma and Zhang Qiang met with Paramount chairman Brad Grey that started it all.
