For most of his 43 years, he was known as Eric Welch. They’ve just made one of the weirdest Star Wars tributes imaginable – by disguising their latest star signing as Darth Vader during his official unveiling. Some 500 congregants wielding light sabres and Darth Vader masks packed into Berlin’s Zion Church for a special Sunday service with the film’s theme song played on the church’s organ echoing around the rafters to the delight of all those in attendance.
In 2002, he also discovered he had leukemia. He’s now an outpatient at UR Medicine’s Wilmot Cancer Institute.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help raise money for the transplant.

Vader often shows up around town dressed as, well, himself.

“The goal is to find a better coach and I think we have a tremendous opportunity in Don Brown to accomplis that goal”, Harbaugh said.
