Next- Gen Apple Watch to be Released in 2016
Quanta manufactured countless models of the Apple Watch this year, and Barry Lam is the chairman of said company. This is huge for the company, especially after the company CEO, Tim Cook pointed out that the first iteration of the Apple Watch has surpassed expected sales.
A next generation Apple Watch is scheduled to come out next year.
That next version of the Apple smartwatch is in the development stage, according to a report on a Chinese media site.
First, Apple will have limited quantities when it unveils Watch 2 in Q2 2016, with the supplier of Apple’s new wearable, Quanta Computer, having more shipping quantities starting in Q3 2016. The Apple Watch released in April is definitely not a prefect gadget, but even so it sold quite well, market researchers estimating that up to now the Cupertino- based company has shipped around 7 million smartwatches, making it the best selling gadget of this kind. However, Lam is believed to have claimed that the device will be a major improvement on the current one, offering “fully upgraded hardware and software”.
Whether you love the idea of smartwatches or think it’s just a silly craze, the Apple Watch certainly got folks attention.
What would you like to see from the Apple Watch 2? At the same time Apple also added a number of colors and band styles to its smartwatch, making it more appealing to the general public.
Apple has been working hard to increase the Watch’s appeal. A new and improved Apple Watch would render the current Watch Edition outdated. Unless users decide to undertake the unlikely decision to fork out another $10,000.
The Apple Watch has its limits, such as needing a nearby iPhone to fully perform its functions.
