Next Note Device Likely to Bear “Note 7” Moniker, Specs Leaked
The always-reliable Evan Blass posted images of the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition on Twitter. The updating process also happen over on-air update, and users also need a stable connection to make it through.
The carrier, AT&T, has started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update to Samsung’s Note 5 and the S6 Edge sold in their network.
Both the S6 Edge and the Note 5 from Samsung Galaxy under AT&T network will get the Marshmallow update for all the devices very soon. The leaks tells us that the dimensions of the phone will be 153.5mm x 73.9mm x 7.9mm, which will be the same as its predecessor.
Remember when Samsung announced Galaxy Note in the year 2011 same year Company also came up with Galaxy SII. Now it looks quite similar to that of Edge flagship the only difference in being a slightly outstretched size and presence of a small slot so as to store the retractable stylus. “Confirmed”, he tweeted out along with a picture with “Samsung GalaxyNote 7” written on it.
As earlier we reported that this August, Samsung might release exclusively the Galaxy Note 7 Edge variant which means that there’s no flat screen model under works. The phablet will sport a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Despite the phablet moniker being thrown around a lot with this phone, it’s actually only a 5.7-inch device. Then as expected it will have the same camera setup as the impressive Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, be IP68 dust and water resistant, even with the S-Pen stylus, and come in three colors. Samsung, in the past, has been known to be coming out with such devices from time to time. There are also rumors about having a 20MP camera, but it seems Samsung will stick to 12MP, similar to the one in Galaxy S7.
Note 7 will have a powerful battery of 4,000 mAh, surely one of the biggest on the market. Because as current leaks and rumors go, the Note 6 is likely to never be released. Colours available will be black, silver, and blue coral. We only have a little over a month of waiting, so stay tuned for more details as they become available.
