Next Star Wars Movie Name May Have Been Leaked
Alan Tudyk, from left, Diego Luna and Donnie Yen arrive at the world premiere of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” at the Pantages Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, in Los Angeles. Sure, they’d continue chronicling the trajectory of the Skywalkers, but what else was out there?
Felicity Jones says her “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” character was inspired by Beyonce. It hits theaters this week, kicking off Lucasfilm and Disney’s spinoff gamble. All of the previous Star Wars //em saga installments have been crowned with the title save for Episode I – The Phantom Menace //em . This is the first “Star Wars” film that doesn’t focus on the Jedi and the Sith.
“A Star Wars story” actress has admitted she was a “rebellious teenager” growing up. It is produced by Kathleen Kennedy from an original idea by John Knoll.
“Rogue One” tells a great heist story and offers some new glimpses into the world of “Star Wars”.
Whatever “Forces of Destiny” is, it is a part of the Star Wars franchise and could very well be the next motion picture. “Rouge One” is reaching back further than previous episodes. After settling into a peaceful life as a farmer, the erstwhile imperial scientist is forced by Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) to resume work on the galaxy-altering weapon that most definitely is not a moon. It is easily the most exciting blockbuster in recent memory this side of “Mad Max: Fury Road”, and that includes “The Force Awakens”, which now looks lazy and bloated with sentimentality and fan service in comparison to the subversive ingenuity of “Rogue One”. There were rumors about expensive reshoots. We’ve been hearing stories for months about the involvement of screenwriter Tony Gilroy, and director Gareth Edwards has even gone on record to explain what went down and what happened.
What is the meaning of Rogue One?
Director Gareth Edwards takes a courageous risk by staging several action sequences in Vietnam War-movie mode – it’s interesting to see laser-toting soldiers trudging through ankle-deep water against a backdrop of palm trees – but the final battle is overlong and very jumbled. It also speaks to something in me that’s very personal, that is about that kid that goes and watches that film in 1977.
