Some reports leaked the new LG and Huawei Nexus handsets’ specifications and features. Moreover, some enthusiasts are disappointed to LG Nexus 5 and hoping that the Google Nexus 2015 would be a better upgrade.
Base on the leaks, the rumoured two models of Google Nexus 2015 would be sporting fingerprint scanner running Android M. There are no certain reports about its price and release date as of yet, although, there are rumours saying that it’ll be priced around $300 – $400 and it would be released around third quarter of this year. Under the hood, the unit will boast a 64-bit SoC that offers an octa core CPU and next-gen Adreno GPU with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The 13-megapixel rear camera must not also be overlooked as it features an IMX278 RGBW sensor, 6-element f/1.8 aperture lens, OIS, laser autofocus and dual-tone LED flash.
Other key features of the new Nexus 5 include frontal stereo speakers, rear-placed power button with fingerprint sensor, and USB Type C connector with QuickCharge support.
GizmoChina’s report has also released images of what may be one of the devices’ prototype.
For sharp selfies, LG Nexus 5 allegedly comes with a 4-megapixel front camera with an OV4682 RGB-IR sensor and Iris Detection. While the video is too short and unclear to learn specific details about the supposedly upcoming smartphone, we did learn a few more things about it, including what looks like a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device.
Some of the specs of the Huawei Nexus have also been revealed. The report notes that the phone will come with a 5.7-inch 2K display and a 21-megapixel rear camera for specs, and a metal unibody design and wireless charging for features. @evleaks tweeted about Huawei Nexus 2015 to be in 5.7 inch QHD display.
