Neymar: Messi For The Ballon D’or Again

He said: “I hope to make history, continue to make history here in Barcelona, win spectacular things, another Champions League, La Liga, and continue doing my job”. My only concern at the moment is to be focused on helping the team and to keep winning titles with Barca.

Neymar has now sent a reassuring message to the Catalan fans claiming that he is happier than ever at the club alongside his friends Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

With youth on his side and plenty of experience of winning trophies with the Catalan giants, Neymar looks set to only develop on what he’s already achieved within the game in the years to come. “This year the Ballon d’Or is reserved for Messi, the best player in the world is already decided”.

While speaking about his special relationship with Messi and Suarez, he added: “I think we surprised people”.

“But here it’s different, we know our responsibility, what we have to do on the pitch, and I’m going to do everything to help my teammates. The city helps me a lot and I’m very happy”.

With Messi continuing his recovery from a knee injury, Neymar insisted he can handle the pressure of leading the line for Barcelona as he has to for his country.

“It has been hard so far and it looks as if we have to do more that we have in the past to get the better of our rivals”, said the striker, who remains optimistic.

“The challenge does not frighten me at all, although I know it is hard”.
