NFL Fantasy Football: Week 4 running back rankings
It doesn’t even include any advertising or the thousands of other contests the website offers. That low point was his first game, and thus his first career start.
And the question of the week for me has been “what is up with Hill and Bernard?”
You can listen to the full audio interview here. Plus, Indianapolis has allowed an average of 261 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks so far this season. Yes, it’s 3 games into the season. His fantasy numbers against the 49ers this past Sunday fall into the “good-not-great” category, but that’s really more a function of how the game went – specifically the Cardinals jumping all over the 49ers early. It appears that Hillman is going to be a thorn in the side of Anderson owners all season long, but that doesn’t mean the ship has sailed on an RB2 season. The Cowboys defense ranked #1 against the run heading into Week 3, so Freeman proved he is more than capable of handling 3-down duties.
If you are 3-0, you certainly have a few players overperforming!
Week three wrapped up in the National Football League with a few teams starting to roll with three game win streaks. However, in this instance, both Blue and Foster remain startable. He will get a favorable matchup in week 4 against a average at best New York Giants defense. Mr. Julio (No-One-Can-Stop-Me) Jones finished with 12 receptions for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns. Last week the former star running back rushed for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns.
It’s time to get rolling with my FanDuel week 4 picks! As for suggested starts this week, there’s numerous castoffs or guys who’ve languished on waiver wires in years past. He is facing the Giants, and should be a good fit for Gronk owners. My opinion of Randle hasn’t changed though as 41 of those 116 yards came on a fluke play. Trying to predict performance in future weeks is almost impossible. Newton has been protecting the football well this season, and it will be interesting watching him face another No. 1 overall pick in Jameis Winston.
Matthew Stafford (QB, Det): I don’t care if Calvin Johnson is healthy. The Raiders take on the Chicago Bears, who have possibly the worst defense in the league.
“We’re going through a formal process of making them take “leader in fantasy sports” out of all their marketing messages”, DraftKings cofounder Paul Liberman said on Friday at a conference at Babson College. With the Vikings being owned in just a small percentage of fantasy leagues, not many people got to enjoy the spoils of this week’s victory.
And Tyler Eifert is a top 6 tight end in fantasy – who knew?!
Carlos Hyde ($5,100) – Another running back close to another projected high ownership option, Hyde is a sneaky grab.
The second-year back out of Florida State exploded against the Dallas Cowboys for 141 yards on the ground and an additional 52 through the air. But it’s not and his early performance has disappointed.
Pat O’Donnell, P, Bears: I once played in a league that included offensive linemen and, yes, even punters.
Derek Carr (QB, OAK) – Carr will serve as another viable replacement for an injured Big Ben or other struggling QB. Great number two with one of the best fantasy quarterbacks right now. The situation going on in the Jets backfield is quite peculiar at this point. Are you a proud owner or are you more interested in streaming players based on experts’ opinions?
Without Gronk, our spread is only $6,000 for the top TE and $2,500 for the bottom of the barrel.
With two weeks of injury-plagued, underwhelming football in the books, Week 3 was the fantasy football gods’ attempt at balancing the scales with 15 multi-touchdown games coming from wide receivers and running backs alone. It was easy to stack him with Green, and you can also trust Marvin Jones and Tyler Eifert in your lineup this week as well.
Jordan Cameron – Dolphins: Cameron has always been one of those fantasy TEs that does very well, until he suffers a concussion or injury. I would look to Jones this week to get open with KC doubling Green. This week he saw 8 targets, but only managed to catch 3 of them for 16 empty yards.
It’s tempting to doubt the Jets punishing D as they make the trek to London, but Miller’s rushing woes should continue against New York’s stacked defensive line. They were awful on all fronts not just running.
