NFL Pro Bowl selection includes 10 Carolina Panthers players

New England Patriots second-year cornerback Malcolm Butler was surprised when he learned he was selected for his first Pro Bowl. Five of his teammates were first-time selections, including cornerback Josh Norman and linebacker Thomas Davis.

Other Cardinals selected were receiver Larry Fitzgerald, guard Mike Iupati, defensive end Calais Campbell, cornerback Patrick Peterson, free safety Tyrann Mathieu and special teams player Justin Bethel. “I guess the fans and some (players) didn’t see it the same way we did”.

The NFL also announced that linebacker Lavonte David and guard Logan Mankins were voted as alternates to the Pro Bowl roster. He has three games this season with two or more sacks.

But Robinson likely didn’t make the cut in voting amongst players, coaches and fans because his 69 catches are tied for 22nd.
