Niall Horan fractures foot

At one point during the band’s show at Olympic Stadium, Louis Tomlinson asked Horan, who was wearing a boot on his right foot, how he hurt himself. The blonde cutie then revealed he woke up with a pain in his foot, so he got an X-ray and discovered it was fractured.

The One Direction star admitted he didn’t know how he got the injury in at his band’s concert over the weekend. According to Gossip Cop, Niall performed with a medical walking boot on his left foot.

The 1D member had knee surgery back in January 2014, and has been making progress while recovering since, but it looks like he hasn’t had the luck of the Irish on his side recently. “Sounds so dumb, but it’s a big day in my head”.

And luckily for the accident-prone pop star, he has a reduced risk of injury, admitting he’s not the daring type.

“I’m not very daring, I’m all about a gentle game of golf”, Horan said before. “I’d be surprised if any of the four would ever want to walk away from that”, he finally said.

Simon Cowell, the band’s co-creator, said that their priority is still the welfare of the fans. It could have easily happened while he rocked out on stage in concert!

Fans are saddened upon hearing the news that their favorite boy band, One Direction, will take a one-year “well-earned” break, as announced last August.

One Direction are also the first United Kingdom group to debut at No.1 in the U.S. with their debut album, and they’ve achieved the record for the highest debut by a United Kingdom group on the US singles chart (they reached No.3 with Live While We’re Young).
