Nic Cage and Vince Neil Got Into a Hugging Match in Vegas

Bystander mobile phone video provided to the celebrity website TMZ.com shows actor Nicolas Cage physically restraining Neil before police arrived. Watch the incident below.

Things got testy fast when Vince Neil got into an altercation with Nicolas Cage in Las Vegas on Thursday.

The 55-year-old rocker was cited for misdemeanor battery and issued a summons, although he wasn’t taken into custody.

It was not immediately clear what Oscar-winner Cage and the formerly chart-topping Neil were doing at the hotel.

Wearing a dapper bright blue suit, the “Moonstruck” star can be seen shoving and shouting at his friend in the video footage.

“Law enforcement sources tell us the fight went down at around 5 p.m.at Aria Hotel on the Vegas strip”, the story reports. It should be noted that Neil is now the subject of a LVPD criminal investigation. Vince Neil allegedly accosted an unnamed woman, and Nic Cage then grabbed ahold of Neil, trying to either stop him or calm him down. In 2002, he was arrested after attacking a producer outside of a nightclub.

The photo at left is from a 2010 Neil arrest for alleged DUI. In 2011, Neil was charged with battery and disorderly conduct after allegedly getting into a fight with his ex-girlfriend.
